Thanks to the latest technological developments on the Costa del Sol, it is now possible to have a high-speed internet connection without a telephone line. This is extremely practical in areas where Telefonica does not have an exchange nearby or there are no more telephone lines available in the area. Note that this is not microwave, instead, this is a high-speed wireless connection with speeds up to 4MB.

ADSL speed internet access without the need for a telephone line

An antenna or repeater broadcasts the signal, then a special wireless router which is installed on your roof connects to the signal, then a cable runs from the router into your home to connect your computer / Notebook / Wireless hub. The installation including the cost of the router itself (yours to keep) is only 250€.

The internet access connection speeds are similar to ADSL and start from 256kbs and go up to 4MG
